Central Florida Working Group
Financial Policy Statement
1. Prudent financial management of the Central Florida Working Group, CFWG, is essential. Responsibility for oversight of all funds lies directly with the CFWG Board of Directors.
2. CFWG will operate within the budgetary guidelines established by its Board of Directors.
3. All CFWG bank accounts must be reconciled monthly by the Treasurer and reviewed quarterly by the Executive Committee. Current financial overview and bank statement(s) copies will be presented to board members for review at all meetings of the CFWG Board of Directors.
4. Authorized check signers for CFWG accounts are the President, Treasurer and Past Treasurer. Current check signing authorization cards must be kept on file at all banks handling the CFWG accounts.
5. All expenditures over $200. require two signatures (a faxed executed voucher approval may fulfill second signature requirement with voucher approval document attached to a copy of the singularly signed check and expenditure documentation).
6. Any request for reimbursement must be accompanied by a properly executed CFWG Reimbursement Request Form and original receipts. No receipt copies will be accepted, in lieu of originals.
